Job summary

The Clinical Nurse in CICU provides safe, competent critical care to cardiac patients during a 13-week night assignment. You will deliver bedside nursing using evidence-based practice, assess acutely ill patients, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement the care plan.

Requires 2+ years in Cardiac ICU, BSN, and current RN license with BLS/ACLS. You will educate families, manage care transitions, and ensure documentation accuracy while maintaining patient safety and throughput.

Qualifications

Description:The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and their significant others.

Delivers patient care by incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care and through the application of the nursing process based upon theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards.

Assesses and evaluates patient care needs and applies critical thinking skills in patient care management.

Integrates relevant assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care.

Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.
