Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN in a Charge Nurse role for the Telemetry unit. This position provides supervision and prioritization of activities, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff accountability.

You will coach and mentor nurses, participate in scheduling and policy development, and collaborate with physicians to optimize discharge planning and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program and RN licensure in Kansas.
• BSN strongly preferred for leadership role.
• Proven ability to supervise and coach nursing staff.
• Familiarity with telemetry nursing practices and patient ratios.

Responsibilities

• Supervises unit nursing staff and prioritizes activities.
• Leads care planning and collaborates with medical staff.
• Ensures compliance with department and hospital policies.
