Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Frisco at PGA Parkway is seeking a Registered Nurse Charge in the NICU, overseeing patient care and coordinating care plans for newborns. The role emphasizes nursing judgment, adherence to standards, and compassionate patient support.

Required: RN license, BLS within 30 days, and 3 years NICU experience with at least 2 years in a Charge RN role. FT Nights; benefits include health, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and PTO from Day 1.

Qualifications

• 3 years NICU experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Charge RN.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care in NICU and ensure nursing regulations are followed.
• Identify nursing diagnoses, create personalized care plans and assess patient responses.
• Coordinate care delivery and communicate effectively with the care team.

Shift

FT Nights, three,12hr shifts a week, 6:45 a.m.-7:15 a.m.. including weekends, 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday

PREFERRED

3 years experience in the NICU with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Charge RN
