Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (RN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care within our skilled nursing community in Sedan, KS. You will oversee nursing services during assigned shifts and supervise caregiving teams to ensure high-quality care.

This role requires an active RN license, strong clinical judgment, and collaboration with families, physicians, and leadership to maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and compassionate resident

Formación

• Current RN license required.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are being met.
• Address, document, and report incidents, accidents, and concerns, including suspected abuse or neglect.
• Ensure appropriate supplies, equipment, and medications are available and communicated to leadership.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety.
• Uphold Americare’s mission, vision, values, and company policies.
