Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care in the Emergency Department.

You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, collaborate with the healthcare team, document actions, and ensure compliance with standards. Must hold RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS; ED experience preferred; associate degree required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Emergency Department nursing experience is required.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments to gather health data.
• Analyses assessment data to formulate nursing diagnoses.
• Identifies expected patient outcomes based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Develops individualized care plans to achieve outcomes.
• Implements nursing interventions to address patient needs and care plan goals.
• Evaluates effectiveness of interventions and patient progress.
• Revises care plans based on ongoing assessment and evaluation.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Documents all aspects of the nursing process accurately and timely.
• Uses critical thinking and clinical judgment in all phases of the nursing process.
• Ensures compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Engages in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
