Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks an experienced registered nurse for night shifts in the Emergency Department. You will conduct assessments, diagnose patient needs, develop care plans, administer interventions, and monitor outcomes while collaborating with families and the healthcare team.

Requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS with ED experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Background checks apply; benefits include comprehensive coverage and PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• RN license required and in good standing.
• CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• Emergency Department nursing experience required; charge nurse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and collect health data.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans and interventions.
• Evaluate progress and revise plans as needed.
• Document all nursing processes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with patients, families and care teams to ensure quality care.

Job Description

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments to gather health data.
• Analyzes assessment data to formulate accurate nursing diagnoses.
• Identifies expected patient outcomes based on assessment and diagnosis.
• Develops individualized care plans to achieve identified outcomes.
• Implements nursing interventions to address patient needs and achieve care plan goals.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and patient progress towards outcomes.
• Revises care plans based on ongoing assessment and evaluation.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members in the care process.
• Documents all aspects of the nursing process accurately and timely.
• Utilizes critical thinking and clinical judgment in all phases of the nursing process.
• Ensures compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in nursing practice.
• Engages in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care.

• Previous charge nurse experience [Preferred]

Pay Range: $34.32 - $63.84
