Job summary

AdventHealth Tarpon Springs is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will assess patients, analyze data, identify outcomes, and collaborate with families and the healthcare team to deliver holistic, evidence-based care.

Requires Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred. ED RN experience is required; charge nurse experience preferred. Florida RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS; TNCC preferred. Day, full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Emergency Department nursing experience is required.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments to gather health data.

• Develops individualized care plans to achieve identified outcomes.
• Implements nursing interventions to address patient needs and care plan goals.

Job Description:

Identifies expected patient outcomes based on assessment and diagnosis. Develops individualized care plans to achieve identified outcomes. Implements nursing interventions to address patient needs and achieve care plan goals. Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and patient progress towards outcomes. Revises care plans based on ongoing assessment and evaluation. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members in the care process. Documents all aspects of the nursing process accurately and timely. Utilizes critical thinking and clinical judgment in all phases of the nursing process. Ensures compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in nursing practice. Engages in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care. Other duties as assigned.
