Job summary

Eventide Heartland Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Day shift team on a full-time basis. The position is on-site and involves a 72-hour pay period with a 6 am–6:30 pm schedule, including every other weekend and holiday rotation, and a $2/hour weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Must have an active ND RN license or be able to obtain upon hire
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents’ needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors both for effectiveness.
• Provides direct nursing care to residents according to established policies and standards.
• Documents accurately in the residents’ electronic medical record.
• Coordinates and participates in resident care conferences and communicates information to families.
• Ensures adequate staffing levels and supervises subordinate staff.
• Communicates the needs of residents to care staff.
• Maintains ongoing nursing education and participates in in-services.
