Job summary

Good Samaritan in Luverne, MN seeks a Registered Nurse for a part-time daytime shift (7am–7pm) with 12 weekly hours. The RN provides individualized nursing care, coordinates resident care, and collaborates with an inter-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality services in a not-for-profit setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an unencumbered RN license in Minnesota (NLC state licensure acceptable).

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state and/or multistate licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Coordinate care, perform resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and adherence to standards of practice.
