Job summary

BayCare Health System in Bartow, FL seeks a Cath Lab/IR Charge RN to lead a cardiovascular team during diagnostic and interventional procedures. The resident expert in clinical and technical aspects of Cardiovascular/Interventional care operates with minimal supervision.

This full-time role involves assuming room charge, serving as team leader and proctoring colleagues, promoting evidence-based care, and supporting managers in delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• BSN degree required.
• 2 years clinical nursing with at least 1 year in Cath Lab/IR/EP/ED/CCU.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and invasive procedures within the Cath Lab/IR team.
• Function independently during procedures with minimal supervision.
• Assume room charge and act as team leader when assigned by the Manager.
• Proctor and guide team members to maintain clinical excellence.

The Cath Lab/IR Charge Nurse serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Resident Expert in clinical and technical aspect of Cardiovascular/Interventional. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with no supervision. Assumes Room charge, team leader charge and proctorship of team members when assigned by Manager. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
