Job summary

Intermountain Health's Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO seeks an RN Charge Nurse for a full-time day shift. You will provide leadership, clinical expertise, and coordination of staff and resources to deliver safe, high-quality patient care on the unit.

You will develop care plans with patient and family involvement, supervise the care team, ensure compliant documentation, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Requires RN license, BSN, and BLS; ACLS/PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• BSN degree or higher (or requirement to obtain BSN within four years).
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS) as required.
• Mentoring experience and experience in the assigned clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical expertise on the shift and department.
• Coordinate staffing and resources to meet patient needs.
• Develop and adjust individualized plans of care with family involvement.
• Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with licensure.
