King Health & Rehabilitation Center in King, NC is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. You will provide individualized nursing care, supervise CNAs, administer medications, and help residents regain independence under physician plans.

Qualifications

• Active Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of nursing assistants (CNAs).
• Provide individualized nursing care to residents according to each resident's plan of care.
• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Explains procedures and treatments ordered to gain patients' cooperation and allay apprehension.
• Observe vital signs to detect deviations from normal and gauge progress of the patient.
• Maintain patients' medical records on nursing observations and actions taken.
• Record nursing needs on care plans to assure continuity of care.
• Observe emotional stability and prepare patients for continuing care after discharge.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care.
