Basic Function

Responsible for providing nursing care that meets the spiritual, emotional, and functional needs of residents. Ensures quality care by delegating responsibilities to nursing staff based on resident acuity and staff skills. Assists in training nursing staff as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate resident care management during assigned shifts and oversee clinical management of residents.

Minimum Qualifications

Current California license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.

Demonstrated supervisory, management, leadership, and employee relations skills.

Education and Experience

Graduation from an accredited nursing school. Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. At least one year of experience in long-term care, including direct care of the elderly or chronically ill.
