Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (AD, Diploma).
• RN license in Texas required.
• CPR-BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification required before completion of orientation.
• NIHSS certification required before completion of orientation.
• Knowledge of nursing process and ability to deliver patient care based on standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to patients using the nursing process and collaborative approach.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Interact with patients and families while maintaining professional standards.
• Provide direct and individualized nursing care according to standards of care and patient needs.
• May float to various bedded units as directed by hospital needs and competency.
