Job summary

Rome Health seeks a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist - RN to support the Health Information Management Team. You will review, educate, and consult to improve the integrity of medical record documentation, supporting accurate coding, reimbursement, and quality initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of Health Information Management, the role requires NYS RN licensure, ADN with BSN preferred, and at least 5 years in an acute care inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in NYS required.
• BSN preferred.
• 5 years clinical experience in an acute care inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve documentation accuracy and completeness.
• Educate and consult with providers and staff on CDI practices.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure high-quality documentation supporting correct coding and reimbursement.
