Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions in Omaha, NE seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Care Unit to provide specialized nursing care to patients with acute and complex cardiac conditions, including heart failure and post-procedural recovery. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Cardiac/CCU/Telemetry nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and initiate appropriate intervention for arrhythmias.
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications, including vasoactive and antiarrhythmic infusions.
• Provide care for patients before and after cardiac procedures and surgical interventions.
• Participate in resuscitation and emergency response events.
• Provide cardiac education to patients and families and support discharge planning.

Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care Unit

Job Summary

Provides specialized nursing care to patients with acute and complex cardiac conditions, including heart failure, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias and post-procedural recovery. Performs continuous cardiac monitoring, administers and titrates cardiac medications, and responds to changes in patient status. Educates patients and families on cardiac conditions and self-management.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Required
• Cardiac, critical care or telemetry nursing experience: Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
