Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced RN to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team in Round Rock, TX for a 13-week contract. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with 10-hour shifts and requires at least 1 year in a Cath Lab setting.

Must hold a Texas RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications. Responsibilities include direct nursing care for diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, patient prep and positioning, conscious sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and clear communication

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Current RN license for Texas.
• BLS Provider and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures.
• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures.
• Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed.
• Prepare, implement, and document the care plan; communicate patient status to the physician before/during/after procedures.
• Set up and assist with equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
