Job summary

DDN Consulting Services is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support individuals with developmental disabilities in CT group homes. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

Travel to East Haven, Hamden, North Haven and nearby towns is required. You will oversee care plans, document care, and train staff to advocate for residents' health needs.

Qualifications

• Active CT RN license.
• 1–2 years nursing experience preferred; developmental disabilities experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight, training, and documentation.
• Develop plans to advocate for health care needs.
• Write nursing reviews.
• Monitor medical and dental records.
• Review documentation to ensure certified staff follows procedures for reporting errors in medication administration.
• Supervise the initial worksite for med administration by staff.
• Conduct onsite training.
