Address: 200 St Paul St SW, Preston, MN 55965, USA
Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Part time
Weekly Hours: 20.00
Salary Range: $34.00 - $51.00

Good Samaritan Society – Preston provides home care services for southeast Minnesota including the counties of Freeborn, Mower, Fillmore, Houston, southern Olmsted, and southern Winona.

Position Details:

  • On-call Weekend Rotation

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Licensed RN in the State of Minnesota
  • Must have a current driver’s license

Job Summary:

Integrates healthcare for clients from pre-admission to post-discharge through coordination and sequencing of care. Utilizes independent nursing judgment, knowledge of age-specific care methodologies, and promotes interdisciplinary communication. Works in various healthcare settings, evaluates outcomes, and ensures efficient patient flow.

Must demonstrate independence, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. Ability to document clearly, adapt teaching to patient age groups, and prioritize tasks is essential. Flexibility to work primarily day hours, scheduled weekends, and occasional evenings is required. May be exposed to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program is also preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of professional nursing experience preferred.
  • Valid RN license in Minnesota or multistate licensure if in NLC state.
