Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in California required

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in Trauma/General Surgery, Critical and/or Acute Care or Emergency Care
• Recent experience in case management and discharge planning desirable

Responsibilities

• Facilitate care delivery and timely discharge or transfer of patients.
• Manage patient flow to ensure care is appropriate, authorized and conducted in the most appropriate setting.
• Act as liaison to payer personnel, external case managers, review organizations and insurance companies.
• Provide clinical information and insight to healthcare team members and Revenue Cycle.
