You will oversee admission and concurrent review, contribute to cost containment, and collaborate with care teams to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state RN license and active BCLS certification.
• Five years of post-graduate nursing experience; RN Case Manager preferred.
• Experience in case management, discharge planning or nursing management.
• Knowledge of Milliman and InterQual criteria preferred.
• Proficient with basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention Training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and resource management for all admitted patients across the care continuum.
• Promote cost containment and coordinate with care providers for seamless delivery of care.
• Perform admission and concurrent review of medical records for necessity and severity of illness.
