Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license required.
• Alaska RN licensure must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum of two (2) years' clinical experience and exposure to multiple units preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EHR, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams in a culturally sensitive and respectful manner.
• Proven familiarity with the unique challenges and resources available in rural healthcare settings.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Registered Nurse (RN) Case Managers initiate and coordinate comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population, ranging from neonates to geriatric patients. The RN Case Manager helps improve patient outcomes by working as a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, continuously striving to elevate the quality, timeliness, and accessibility of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active and unrestricted RN License required. Alaska RN licensure must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications are required.
• Minimum of two (2) years' clinical experience and exposure to multiple units preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple departments and provide care to a diverse patient population, including acute, chronic, neonate, pediatric, and geriatric needs.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), with attention to accuracy and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams in a culturally sensitive and respectful manner.
• Proven familiarity with the unique challenges and resources available in rural healthcare settings, including limited access to specialty services.
