Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an RN Case Manager in El Paso, TX to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless transitions for inpatients and observation patients. The role involves comprehensive psychosocial and medical assessments and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Shift 8:00am-4:30pm with rotating weekends; 13-week assignment starting 9/14/2026; Meditech systems used; the pay rate is $1,800 to $2,500 per week.

Qualifications

• TX/compact RN license.
• BLS.
• 2 years case management experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Acute hospital experience during the past year with no more than a 90-day break.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management for inpatient and observation patients, assesses psychosocial, medical and discharge needs.
• Coordinates plan of care and discharges by collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
• Evaluates progression of care using InterQual throughout the episode.

POSITION SUMMARY – RN Case Manager

POSITION DUTIES

– Provides Case management service for both inpatient and observation patients assigned. Performs a comprehensive assessment of psychosocial, medical and discharge needs of patients/family, coordinates the plan of care and drives the discharge plan by collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Evaluates progression of care using InterQual throughout the episode of care.
