Job summary

Encore Parkside in Delaware is seeking a dedicated RN to provide direct nursing care to residents per physician orders and care plans. You will assess patient status, administer medications, monitor changes, and document thoroughly to support safe, high-quality care.

The role requires active Delaware RN licensure, strong clinical and communication skills, and the ability to supervise LPNs and CNAs while ensuring infection control and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Delaware.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders and care plans.
• Assess residents' physical, psychosocial, and functional status and document.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to physician and leadership.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs on unit or shift.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in care planning, shift reports, and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed.
• Accurately complete medical records, MARs, TARs, and incident reports.
• Educate residents and families regarding care, treatments, and health conditions.
