Job summary

Sterling Care Rockville is a dedicated senior care provider seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise staff and safeguard Residents' health, safety, and welfare in accordance with nursing policies and state regulations.

You will mentor G.N.A.s, administer medications and injections, review medication records, and ensure accurate documentation and narcotics control while delivering compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered with the state as an RN / Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
• Provides supervision to G.N.A’s and all subordinate staff which includes checking their work to ascertain that assignments have been completed.
• Administer all parenteral, intramuscular, and sub-cutaneous injections.
• Administer medications within the scope of practice of the RN Licensure. Maintain a current report of narcotics received and used.
• Review daily the documentation of the dispensing of the controlled substances and narcotics.
