Job summary

UCHealth in Longmont, CO seeks a Registered Nurse for the LPH Radiation Oncology department. This part-time, on-site role (40 hours per pay period) supports care coordination across disciplines and families, focusing on quality outcomes with nursing excellence.

The ideal candidate will have RN licensure, 2 years of nursing experience (acute care and case management preferred) and collaborate with physicians to promote optimal patient care in a busy oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program. State RN licensure required.
• 2 years of nursing experience. Acute care and 1 year Case Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates nursing process with critical thinking to meet client care needs.
• Establishes collaborative partnerships to address health care needs and utilization of resources.
• Educates and coaches clients and families about treatment options and self-care.
• Facilitates communication among health care team to minimize fragmentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
