Harborview Health Systems in Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our faith-based long-term care facility. You will supervise CNAs, collaborate with the IDT, and ensure timely assessments and documentation to support resident care.

The role involves facilitating physician rounds, coordinating referrals, and performing nursing duties per policy and standards. A compassionate mindset and strong teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Ensure initial baseline and periodic comprehensive assessments are completed on time.
• Prepare for and facilitate physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation for review.
• Initiate consultations or referrals as appropriate based on resident needs.
• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation, evaluations, and reports.
• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and aligned with facility policy and clinical standards.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and notify providers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
