Job summary

The Laurels of Bon Air is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead nursing staff and deliver high-quality care to our residents in a long‑term care setting. You will supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other team members while ensuring safe medication administration and adherence to care plans.

As an experienced RN, you will assess residents, respond to status changes, and collaborate with physicians to implement orders.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a long‑term care setting preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Virginia.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care and services provided by LPNs, CNAs and other team members.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
• Assess guests' health and notify the physician of changes, implementing new orders as needed.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessments and implement nursing care.
• Institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
• Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA) and the development of care plans.
