Allegheny Health Network, part of Highmark Health, seeks a registered nurse responsible for a designated patient population, delivering care guided by the nursing process in Pittsburgh.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team from admission through discharge, and educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care in a culturally competent manner.

Formación

• Current PA RN licensure or valid multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification.
• Act 34/Act 33/Act 73 background clearances and FBI fingerprinting.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates clinical assessment and care planning (25%).
• Provides safe and effective care for the age population served (35%).
• Directs and manages the activities of the patient care delivery by the team (15%).
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge (15%).
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education based on age, culture and willingness to learn (10%).
