Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide direct patient care in alignment with hospital policies, procedures, and standards.

You will apply the nursing process to plan and coordinate care for an age-appropriate patient population, initiate and adjust interdisciplinary plans, and document thoroughly to support team communication.

You will also educate patients and families across the continuum of care and may serve as a preceptor for students and new staff.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Background Clearance

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan and coordinate care for age-appropriate patients.
• Initiates, monitors, and revises interdisciplinary care plans based on assessments and orders.
• Completes comprehensive patient documentation to promote communication.
• Provides ongoing teaching to patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Supports development of students or new staff and may serve as a preceptor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
