Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, collaborates with the care team, and promotes safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation; may float to other units as needed.
• Delivers patient care age-appropriately and delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Demonstrates effective communication, education, and teamwork.
