Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state where RN is providing client nursing services (NC).
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• BSN preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans; collaborate with care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and communication with patients and families.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to protocols.
• Promote a culture of safety and participate in quality initiatives.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs; provide age-appropriate care.
