Job summary

Cura Health in Watkins, Minnesota is seeking an RN Coordinator to provide administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth operation of the nursing unit.

The RN Coordinator will coordinate communication between patients, nursing staff, physicians and other members of the healthcare team while maintaining thorough and accurate documentation. This role requires excellent communication and a commitment to quality patient care, with flexible hours and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Proven clinical nursing experience and/or healthcare work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily activities of the nursing unit for efficient workflow.
• Serve as a communication link between nursing staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes with the clinical team.
• Track and monitor patient care activities and staffing assignments.
• Support compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
• Address patient and family inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes.
