Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing client nursing services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
• Maintains a culture of safety and accurate, timely documentation in EHR.
• Float to other units or facilities as needed to meet patient care needs.
