Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking an RN for night shift (8:00 PM to 8:30 AM) with a rotating two-week schedule in southwest Florida. You will identify patient/family needs, deliver preventive and supportive terminally ill care, and supervise LPNs/aides to ensure high-quality life quality in the GIP environment.

Minimum 1 year bedside nursing experience and an active Florida RN license are required.

• Ability to coordinate care and supervise LPNs/aides.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate patient/family needs; provide preventive and supportive care to terminally ill patients and their families.
• Utilize assessment, intervention and teaching to maximize comfort and quality of life.
• Provide oversight and supervision of LPN and/or aides for care delivery in the GIP environment.
• May rotate or float as needed.
