Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a registered nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, and develop individualized care plans while administering medications safely.
Educating patients and families, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining complete medical records are essential.
Qualifications
- RN license is required to practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
- Respond to code situations promptly and provide necessary interventions.
