Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to participate in quality and performance improvement activities, coordinate patient care, and supervise staff. You will assess, treat, and administer medications according to policy, while collaborating with physicians and other care team members.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Nursing with Florida RN licensure and BLS certification; a BSN and NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.
• RN licensure required by Florida law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
• Unit-related experience is required.
• Florida Level 2 background screening may apply.

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities to improve patient outcomes.
• Acts as liaison between physicians, sales consultants, internal customers and management.
• Performs all aspects of clinical patient care, including assessments, treatments, and medications administration.
• Supervises other healthcare team members in the clinical setting.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance, budgets, and supply availability.
