Job summary

Scripps Health's Cardiovascular ICU is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care for cardiac patients. The role requires assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of adult ICU experience and is prepared for 12-hour night shifts. New hire and relocation incentives up to $7,000 are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular ICU
Schedule: 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour night shifts
Location: Scripps Memorial La Jolla

CVICU specializes in caring for acute patients with a variety of disease states. As a destination center for higher level of cardiac care in Southern California, CVICU implements progressive programs and therapies. As a member of our team, you will gain experience in:

• Cardiac surgery
• Heart failure, shock, advanced resuscitation measures
• Mechanical circulatory support
  • ECMO, LVAD, Impella, Tandem Heart, IABP, CRRT

The RN is responsible forproviding direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice, focusing on Cardiac Diagnosis. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. They will work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

The ideal candidate will have one year of adult ICU experience, is committed to elevating their professional practice, and seeks to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
