Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking an experienced RN for night shift, Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a multispecialty team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• RN license issued in the United States.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through observation and interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with SMART goals.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, including IV therapy.
• Provide patient and family education about health conditions and self-care.
• Advocate for patient health and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists and nurses to ensure coordinated care.
• Document care activities accurately in medical records.
• Ensure patient safety by following policies and participating in bedside shift reports.
