Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, Georgia, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the night shift to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced unit. You will assess patients, formulate and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in Georgia or be eligible for licensure in the state.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Fluency in English; strong communication skills.
• Experience in acute care nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vitals and history.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with SMART goals.
• Administer medications and treatments safely (oral, IV, IM).
• Provide patient and family education about health conditions and care plans.
• Advocate for patient safety and coordinate with healthcare teams.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
• Document care activities in medical records accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, social workers, and other nurses.
