Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. The role includes comprehensive patient assessments, SMART goal setting, medication administration, and family education. You will collaborate with doctors, therapists, social workers, and nurses to ensure safe, evidence-based care and effective discharge planning.

Requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications. Acute care experience is preferred; Bachelor's in Nursing is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the United States (Required).
• CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred; Associate's required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and SMART care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely across routes.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure safety.
• Document care activities accurately and promptly in medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
