Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a bedside Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process across assigned units. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking for shifts.
• ACLS and BLS certification, or obtain within 30 days of hire; unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
