The RN assists in maintaining a financially stable unit, promotes personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education within a Practice Governance framework, and supervises licensed and non-licensed staff. Applying the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care, the RN assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates the care plan, prioritizing patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction. The RN utilizes educational and professional experience to deliver quality care and mentor staff.
