Job summary
Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus. This full-time night-shift role covers 7:00pm–7:00am with 4–5 weekends in a 6-week period, and includes responsibilities across bedside and virtual nursing care.
Applicants must hold an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, IL RN licensure, and pertinent certifications (CPR, ACLS). Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly valued.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
- Current Illinois RN licensure required.
- CPR Certification by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS within 6 months of start date.
- Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within 6 months of start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate nursing care for patients.
- Deliver virtual and bedside nursing care and monitor patients.
- Respond to patient/family questions and assist with med checks.
- Perform discharge planning and patient education.
- Document patient interactions in EPIC.
