Job summary

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate safe care, and participate in research and quality improvement to enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities include mentoring staff and ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.
• Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and current BLS certification required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based approaches.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive patient care, fostering effective communication with patients and families.
• Coordinate safe care delivery, ensuring accurate documentation and promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
• Collaborate through interdisciplinary rounds, promote team teamwork, and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, contributing to professional development and a healthy work environment.
• Engage in research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice activities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in resource planning, protocol development, and system-wide initiatives to optimize care and reduce adverse events.
