Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Completion of an approved nursing program with clinical hours.
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, involving patients and families in care planning.
• Ensuring safe, quality care through effective interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and collaboration.
• Supporting performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities.
• Serving as preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and a healthy work environment.
• Promoting evidence-based practice, participating in data collection, and adhering to policies and safety standards.
• Proactively planning patient care across care continuum and contributing to protocol development for optimal outcomes.
