Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for Cardiac Tele-PRN to provide direct patient care using the nursing process and maintain accountability for outcomes. The role requires coordination with other departments, protecting patient rights and confidentiality, and alignment with Mercy standards and mission.

Employment is on-site in Missouri as a PRN position. The successful candidate will have a nursing degree and be licensed to practice as an RN in the hiring state, with BLS certification and ongoing licensure

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for care delivered to assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.

• Maintains patient rights and confdidentiality of patient information.

Education:

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure:

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
