Job summary

Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth is seeking a RN Staff Nurse to deliver competent, individualized care using the nursing process within a Cardiac Stepdown unit. You will work in a 14-bed unit on the 3 South Cardiac Stepdown, applying clinical judgment and teamwork to address each patient’s needs.

Shift is 7p–7a, requiring at least 1 year of direct nursing experience; an Associate’s degree in Nursing; TX RN license; BLS; PALS/NRP and unit-specific certifications post-hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of direct nursing experience required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Active TX RN license and BLS; PALS or NRP and unit certifications post hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent, individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a strong team to address patient needs in Cardiac Stepdown.
