Job summary

AccessHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Stepdown unit. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process, maintaining patient rights, and coordinating care with other departments.

Candidates should have a nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN), an active Missouri RN license (or compact licensure), and BLS certification. Prior hospital experience and additional certifications are preferred for this demanding unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
• Additional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process with professional accountability.
• Coordinate care with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality and maintain ethical standards.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.
