Job summary

Mercy Hospital South CVPCU in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Full-Time RN to join a fast-paced cardiovascular unit.

The position offers 36 hours per week with day and night shifts available, working closely with surgeons, cardiologists, and the heart clinic to ensure safe patient transitions home. You will provide complex cardiovascular care, benefit from strong leadership, and have opportunities to advance into specialty areas such as ICU or CMICU.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include ADN, Nursing Diploma or BSN.
• Licensure: MO RN license or compact license.
• Experience: hospital experience preferred depending on unit.
• Certifications: BLS required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for CVPCU patients using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons, cardiologists, and the heart clinic.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Support professional development and cross-training within the unit.
